This is what my host found, and the reason for the slow down:

I did reindex the database a couple months ago, and it ran perfect after that.. but now its starting to slow down again... Is there any way to fix this problem without reindexing my entire database again? Last time it took my two full days to complete and what a pain...

Please help you have any soultions.. Thanks,

I can't be of help, hopefully someone will chime in.

I'm curious about "reindexing." Is this something that the ISP does on request?

If you happen to have a lot of products, it may be because of the random products sql statement. Search through their helpnotes on limiting the number of products that get retrieved from the database.

http://www.vpasp.com/helpnotes/shopexd.asp?id=848 will choose the latest 100 products

http://www.vpasp.com/helpnotes/shopexd.asp?id=48 tells you how to show "flagged" products

Hi Jubjub, I limited the products to 100 months ago. I don't think that#8217;s the problem. It#8217;s more when I update prices for my products. I must delete my old records and then upload new ones. My host told me this is might be the reason because the table becomes fragmented...

Any other solutions?
