Hi David

xmysite is a configuration option

You set this in the setup section of your admin. The value that should be here is the url of you site

For exmaple, xmysite should be

http://www.yoursitename.com/folderwithcartfiles

yoursitename - this should be changed to your own site's name
folderwithcartfiles - shuld be changed to the folder which contains the vpasp files, unless you have uploaded them to your root directory.

Hope this helps you a little

Hi David,

Constantine was right above. In your case the xmysite value should be set to
http://www.kristinescandlesnmore.com/shop/

For more information on the confgiuration system please see -
http://www.vpasp.com/helpnotes/shoptocdetail.asp?id=32&cat=Configuration+%28Shopa%5Fconfig%2Easp%29

I am not entirely sure what you mean by overhead, however if you are referring to the options that say changing this option may add extra overhead, then this means that by changing that value, you may increase the time taken to run a query on the database, or it may slow the process down a little.

Yes you will just have to put http://www.kristinescandlesnmore.com/shop/ in the xmysite field.

Be sure to add the / at the end.

Your files are in the shop directory, so should therefore have /shop at the end.
