I looked around for a Recently Viewed Items add-on for VPASP and couldn't find one so I set out to write my own. With some help from Hakan I have written one that works great. Here is how it works.

It stores the 3 most recently viewed extended description pages (i.e shopexd.asp) and displays them in a vertical descending order. It will also exclude duplicate views of the same item. You can edit the htmloutput string to look any way you like. It doesnt accommodate for custom extended description pages defined in the Extended Description Field (cdescurl) of the products table. I will add that option shortly.

If VPASP permits it I can post a link to a site that has this add-on in action.

Yes a very handy add-on

Maybe VPASP should (if the dont already) have a place where people can post add-ons and updates to them, a bit like the forum companies do.
