Hi there,
We have finally completed our PayPal Pro interface!
We are looking for beta testers for our new PayPal Pro interface. If interested in testing please submit a request into our online help desk at:
http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/helpdesk
This offer is open to US customers only and they must be within the licence period. You must also have a PayPal Pro account before we can forward the files for testing.
Thank you, Claire Banks

So, does this mean you don't have Pay Pal Pro? except in Beta.. If we are starting members, can we still hook up?

Hi Randy,
We are very excited about being able to soon offer this great new add-on.
Once we have completed testing we will be making this available from our site as part of our great product range.
Thanks, Cam

Hi there,
The interface is actually now live and can be downloaded from our Download center at: http://www.vpasp.com/sales/epdownload.asp
It can be used with both version 5.50 and 6.00.
PayPal Pro is only available for US customers as well unfortunately but they have told us they are rolling out support for different countries later in the year.
Thanks, Cam

How do I get the addon? I don't want to upgrade to 6.0 and it says my order is to old to get it for my 5.5 |

Hi there,
The Paypal Pro gateway is no longer in Beta, so it can only be downloaded from the gateway download page.
Because the credit card details need to be entered in your website, SSL certificates are required. In addition, Paypal Pro does require some setting up on the server end, and you will need to ensure that your web host is willing to install the Paypal Pro SDK.

Is it just the Classic ASP SDK that the web host will need to install? Thanks! Kim |

Hi Kim,
Yes, the SDK needs to be installed on the web host. Please note that when moving to "live" mode, a couple of modifications may need to be applied:
paypalproapi.asp line 90: .DoDirectPaymentRequestDetails.IPAddress = "10.244.43.106"
Change to: .DoDirectPaymentRequestDetails.IPAddress = Request.ServerVariables("REMOTE_ADDR")
paypalproexpress.asp, line 26: Response.Redirect( "https://www." & ENVIRONMENT & ".paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_express-checkout&token=" & token)
Change to: Response.Redirect( "https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_express-checkout&token=" & token)
If you currently do not have a webhost, http://www.sleekhost.com have already got the SDK installed.
Cheers, Joseph
