I would like to use VPASP for online ticket sales, but I'm concerned that the stock control might not update itself fast enough to eliminate double bookings. I will be selling a very limited number of tickets for tours and can't physically hold more than 47 people if someone is double booked.
The following article says that VPASP does not eliminate the possibility of two people ordering the last same item at the same time: http://www.vpasp.com/helpnotes/shopexd.asp?id=334
Does anyone have a solution for this apparent problem? It seems like it would be possible to hold the order for 5 minutes or so while the person completes the order. I've seen this with other ticket selling programs (like ticketmaster.com) -- has anyone created a fix for VPASP to do the same thing? I'll be willing to pay for it if so!
