hi everyone,

i have configuredd my prices to be in GB currency. i have added all the necessary tax codes to the appropriate place. however, when i view my shop the prices are all wrong!

i have an item priced at 10.50 in the back admin, however in the shop it is 5.93. it is almost halving the price. i have had a look at the user guides but i haven't come across anything like this yet.

any help would be appreciated

You not only have to change your default currency, but you also need to change the currency table which holds the conversions.

Hi,

i have removed the other currencies from the table already as i am only selling to the uk, my gb conversionvalue is set at 1. would there be anywhere else i should configure?

figured it out. had to physical go into database and change $ to £. worked!

Just adding a note here. I also found that although the front end of the cart may be displaying your currency, it doesn't actually follow that it is. I removed all the other currencies etc etc and it was still displaying the wrong price but try selecting the default currency again on the front end (even if theres only one) and it should resolve it.

I would imagine its a cookie thing :)
