I would love to see you incorporate something like this in future releases. I have tested this on my cart and its a great addition.

we've got an addon for vpasp which can do image-zooming, and also cater for any number of product images; it can be used in loads of different ways; see the sample links/displays half way down the page for the addon:

http://www.bigyellowzone.com/shopexd.asp?id=91

That addon includes the zoomer itself (ie the flash bit), but also, perhaps more importantly, all the surrounding asp/vpasp processing which works out and displays the initial/link-from thumbnails/buttons etc, so to add those zoomable/multi-image bits in your product pages you'd simply install the addon, set your config options, create your image files, and then add the relevant template-field to your product templates.

see also:

and:

ps: we've also got an enhancement to it that we're pondering at the moment, to be able to show things like pdf files and html files where the zoomed-image is shown at the moment on the popup.

I would love to see this zoomer both not require users to have the Flash plugin and also be able to launch PDFs!

Get er done!

well; the flash element is optional, because you can use it as a viewer rather than a zoomer (ie where it just shows the large pictures as-is and not inside the zoomer flash plugin), because each "zoom" template field has a corresponding "view" template-field.

I'd like to add that pdf (and other file) thing, but we haven't had the time/opportunity yet.
