Another question on cross selling! How can we chnage the layout of cross sell items. Is is possible to gave the list of cross sell items use the same template as product display. At present it displays all the images of the cross sell product one below the other

You will find that the cross selling display is controlled by the FormatCrossSelling subroutine in shopproductformat.asp and HandleCrossselling in shopfileio.asp. This is where you will need to go to modify the display.

A possible alternative is our enhanced/secondary cross-selling template-field addon. It doesn't use templates, but it does have body/header/trailer files that you can tweak and probably by default has the kind of format that you're after. If you want to see/buy that, go to:
http://bigyellowzone.com/shopexd.asp?id=101
And if you like that, you might also like our "Also-bought" template-field addon:

Simon, I was looking at that cross-selling add-on. Would you happen to have a demo site or screenshots that gives some examples of what can be accomplished with your product? Thanks, Jeff

Hi,
we don't have any sample screenshots, but we use it on our own site
wherever you see "You might also be interested in" (for the cross-selling) and "Customers who bought this also bought" (for the also-bought) on our product detail pages.
example: http://bigyellowzone.com/shopexd.asp?id=97
we commented out the thumbnail display on our setup because it didn't make sense, and we added the product code; you can format those lines however you want with the body file that comes with it (all product columns are available in it, plus record counts etc)
people have used it with thumbnails, but I can't give examples because by default it's confidential as to who's bought things etc.
