Hi there. First post. I have configured the Real Time USPS system on our brand new install of 5.5, and we recieve the following error upon checkout:

Authorization failure. You are not authorized to connect to this server.
Authorization failure. You are not authorized to connect to this server.

(Yes, it displays 2 times.)

I have checked the forums, and I have checked my user name and password. Can not seem to get it to work. Any brilliant ideas out there?

I ran into this also. USPS suggested I change the target dll in uspostalconfig.asp from uppercase to lowercase i.e ShippingAPI.dll to shippingapi.dll


Oddly enough it worked for me.

alright, i have tried this and i still the error msg from the first post.

You need to send an email to the USPS (the address was in the email they sent you) saying that you have tested your code with the test server. They will then mark your account active and allow access to the production server. Since you are using a 3rd party software package that has already been tested, you don't need to do any testing. Just tell you are ready to go live.
