Hi Everyone:
I think this is more of an HTML programming question than a shopping cart problem.
I am trying to have a server side include (SSI) when I generate my static HTML files. I am using 'level5' of the product file to name the include file for that product(s).
I have the following statement in 'temp_generate.htm' file
<!--#INCLUDE FILE="[level5]" -->
When I run the HTML generation this is the output line:
<!--#INCLUDE FILE="Brother_Printer_Include.htm" -->
That is exactly what I want because this should pull in a listing of brother printer links. I will have similar files for all the different brands of printers.
The 'Brother_Printer_Include.htm' file is in the same directory as the static html files so this is not the problem.
I am not a programmer, but from what I can find on the internet, this statement should work with any MicroSoft server.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thanks .. Dale

OK, I checked in the FAQ for our ISP and to have the include statement work on a IIS server the file must us the extension '.shtml'.
Anyone know what lines in the static HTML generator I have to change to get it to save the new extension on both the file name and the hyperlinks?
Support, can you help here?
Thanks ... Dale
