I am trying to set all of my security settings as suggested. I have done everything except change the XSHOPID. When I change it to something other than the original, I get some messed up code throughout the cart and in the admin area. Other than in "shop$config.asp" is there any other place I need to change it? THere must be something I am missing. Thanks in advance for your help.
I contacted support and they gave me the answer. For others having the same problem, here is their answer:
"If you change your xshopid after you upload the new shop$config.asp file plese visit the shopend.asp?end=1 page before visiting any other shopping cart pages. This will force a reload of your shop's configuration."
