Somewhere in the ordering to paying by credit card (Vers 5.5), I want to offer the customer an option, say using a tick box to 'Send me a cataolgue'
Does anyone know how to do this please, so that the merchant receives a note of this on the Merchants Email, or have a workaround. Adding the new field [sendcata]to the email is the easy bit - how do I get the cart to process it?

One solution would be to stick the following somewhere (header?). But, this is probably not exactly what/where you wanted to insert the option. . .
Please send a free catalogue:<BR> <a href="http://yoursite.com/shopaddtocartnodb.asp?Productname=FREE CATALOG &price=0.00 &quantity=1 &returnurl="> <img src="vpnav_buy.gif" width="25" height="13" border="0"></a>
I'm new at all of this, but thought someone should try to help (even a newbe) since no one has responded.

Thank you rvaga. I thought many others would have thought about adding something like this extra request and was suprised not to receive any suggestions
I did not think of that approach to it, although I guess it would have to be before the customer moved from the current cart details, to the next stage of inputting their details, as by then they would be past compiling the cart - unless anyone knows that items can be added that late. I think the best place would be on the shopaddtocart.asp page itself, just below the current contents of the cart - unless that is too late.
Regards
Phil
