shoperror.asp - unselected features not listed

Version 5.50

For some reason, when a product is added to the cart and a product feature/option has not been selected, the resulting shoperror.asp message only shows, "Please select the following option for 'product name'". It does not include the particular feature/option that needs to be selected.

Any clues as to what might be causing this? I am using the original unmodified shoperror.asp file.

I found the culprit to this problem. All my product features are flagged as being required. I did this by setting the "Required" field to Yes for each feature I created.

I then later changed the xfeaturesrequired option to Yes. This is the global setting to make all features required. Changing xfeaturesrequired back to No corrected the problem. Now the unselected feature is shown on the error page.
