keep on getting this error when i try to log in to waht im workin on can anyone help

it might be that you're including a copy of adovbs.inc in your file main.asp (or in one of it's non-vpasp includes) - you don't need that included in vpasp pages as it uses its own version (shopvbs.asp) which is automatically included in all vpasp pages via shop$db.asp and it's subordinate includes.

we had the same problem on our site a while ago, because other systems (eg our forum) used the standard adovbs.inc file and was being shown inside vpasp panels. we basically took out the include of adovbs.inc from the other systems' files and just allowed it to use the vpasp one by default instead. it depends if part of those systems will be called within/with vpasp or if some of them are called totally separately in their own right; you might end up having to have 2 headers/includes for those other systems and change your other systems' pages to include the relevant one.
