Is there and easy way to sort the results that come back from a shopquery.asp query?

E.g. <a href="shopquery.asp?cprice=50&cname=shirt">Display stuff</a>
Can I sort by cname? or some other field?

I am trying to display new or items with the highest ID first.

Thanks!

This is the reply I got from support - works good!

Also from another post, you can change sort to desc by appending desc after field name in xsortproducts.

-----------------------------------
The xsortproducts configuration variable determines what fields products get sorted by.

xsortproducts sorts products for both the normal shopdisplayproduct.asp, shopsearch.asp and shopquery.asp displays.

There is no inbuilt functionality to change the sort order just for the shopquery.asp page, this would require a customization to implement.

We use the same idea. We take all of our products and give them a sort ID. For instance the books by one author start with AA then an number (AA00023) and so on.

We use one of the pother fields the sort field.
