Has anyone upgraded the search feature ?

I am using version 4 or 4.5, I when a customer searches for a product it will not return differnt combinations of words used in the product desciption fileds.

For example I have a product titled:
"Canon BJC 2000, 4000, 5000 Series, MultiPass Series - Black"

If I search for :canon" it will appear, or "5000" it will appear,
but if I search for "canon 5000" or "canon black" it will not.

Is there any resolution to this?

i think you need to separate the words with commas in the search field
ie in the search box you'd type in:

canon,5000

Thanks, but it didn't work. That brought up every item that has "canon" or "5000" in the description, not the product that just has both of them in the description.

Hi

Have you tried canon+5000

or "canon+5000"
