I have just set up VP-ASP on a hosting service that I have bought. All the pages load up fine with the exception of 1:

I get an Internal Server Error 500 when I click 'Submit' after I fill up all the information in the Register page.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Please see www.vpasp.com/virtprog/info/faq_http500.htm

Once you can see the real error, you will probabaly be abble to fix it.

If it is database related see www.vpasp.com/virtprog/info/faq_databasesetup.htm

It was a database error. I have contacted the hosting provider to change the permissions.

My error message comes up and the exact error is
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0400'

Expected statement

/shopdisplaycategories.asp, line 2

option explicit
I am not sure why this even comes up because I have not changed any information other than loading items in my products fields and catagories. I have not changed any scripting only changed the background and logo for my shop. Please help?

How did you add the items to your database...I am thinking it has to do with missing related category ids
