How do you add a checkbox to the [special_OrderButton]

it is handled in shopfileio.asp
but where do you create the layout?

For example: Special_OrderButton is in tmp_product.htm

when you look at the code the qty field isn't separated,
it's created with the buy button, by means of the [special_orderButton]

Any info welcome

Hello Michael,

It is indeed in shopfileio.asp. The sub you are looking for is named Handle_SpecialOrderButton. The form, quantity, and buttons are all generated within that sub by calling on different other subs for each of those items. So, as you will see under Handle_SpecialOrderButton, there is a call to the Add_Quantity sub, for example, which is located just a little further down in the same file. You'll see the other subs being called there as well.

With this setup you can either make changes to the way things are handled in Handle_SpecialOrderButton sub itself (add a line break, or a text message, for example) or by editing the indivdual subs that are called from within it -- AddQuantity, AddButton, AddProduct, etc. Just keep in mind that those other subs are not only used within the Handle_SpecialOrderButton sub so any changes you make in them will appear whenever and/or wherever they are called.

Does that make sense? I hope it helps.

All the best,
