We are using the PayPal module with our merchant checkout which is ECHO. Everything works great except for when someone pays with paypal. The system adds on another shipping amount.

I assume the cart is giving a UPS shipping amount and for some reason the paypal module is doing the same thing.

Any ideas ?

I had the same problem. You need to log into your Paypal account, go to your profile, click shipping calculations and change all shipping values to $0.00. That should take care of it.
