Does anyone have a cart with a customer service FAQ page that addresses Cart errors. For example if cookies are not enabled the customer gets cart is empty error. The FAQ page will give an explaniationof the error and tell the customer how to "fix" the problem.

If anyone has compliled such a list and is willing to share let the forum know.

Thanks

and try something like this for your sample text in your cookiesoff asp page.....

<b>Sorry - your cookies seem to be disabled</b>

We do apologise, but our site only works if cookies on your browser are
enabled.

<b>What are cookies ?</b>
<br>
Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and are
created by websites. They are used to store
key information about your session so that the web site knows who you are when you move
from page to page within the site. They're just like sticking a post-it note on your pc,
telling the web site things like "I'm Joe Smith, and I've got a soft toy in my basket."
A cookie can only be read by the same site that originally created it, so no other sites can
read your [Your Company] cookies, and we can't read any cookies that you've got from other places.
<br>
<br>
<b>Why do we use cookies ?</b>
<br>
Our shopping cart uses cookies for 2 main reasons. Firstly, to identify if you're an existing
[Your Company] customer (so that you need not enter all your details when you place your order),
and secondly to keep your cart details. When you actually place an order,
the cart cookie is no longer relevant and is deleted.
<br>
<br>
<b>How to enable cookies on Internet Explorer:</b>
<br>
Go to the menu at the top of the browser (where it's got File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help),
and choose the <b>Tools</b> menu item, that'll bring up an additional menu where you should
choose the <b>Options</b> menu item. That will then give you a window with a load of tabs
at the top - click on the <b>Privacy</b> tab and slide the privacy setting to
<b>"Medium High"</b> or below,
and then click the
<b>OK</b> button at the bottom of the window.
Your cookies will then be enabled and you'll be able to use our shopping basket.

<br>
<b>How to enable cookies on Netscape Navigator:</b>
<br>
Go to the menu at the top of the browser
(where it's got File, Edit, View, Go, Bookmarks, Tools, Windows, Help),
and choose the <b>Edit</b> menu item, that'll bring up an additional menu where you should
choose the <b>Preferences</b> menu item. That will then give you a window with
various categories on the left-hand side. Double-click on the
<b>Privacy & Security</b> category, then single-click on the subordinate
<b>Cookies</b> category, and then (on the right-hand side) click on the
<b>Enable cookies for the originating web site only</b> option, and then click the
<b>OK</b> button at the bottom of the window.
Your cookies will then be enabled and you'll be able to use our shopping basket.
