I noticed that sslshopcheckout.asp is (so far) the only page that does not reference "shopheaders.asp" to display the page headers and trailers but rather calls a sub procedure from within the page itself by calling "newshopheader" and "newshoppagetrailer". Is there a reason for this (ie. ssl security reason)? For the time being I've simply altered this page to include my "shopheaders.asp" file but I don't know if I should keep it this way or not.

Yes there is a good reason. Shared SSL is really extremel;y site specific. Some web hosting companies have their "shared ssl" on a totally different server. VP-ASP needs to cater for all situations so it cannot use your normal headers and footers.

If you need to have the look changed, you need to physically edit sslshopcheckout.asp and add your own header and footer at these locations in the code

NewShopPageHeader
and
NewShopPageTrailer

You will see they are just basic HTML
