I have added an extra field to the products table.

This is the Invoice and price list desctiption, which i will use through access reports

What i need to know is how do i add the field to the add/edit products table so that i can enter the description when adding a new product?

If I understand your question correctly, ie, You have added couple field in product table and now you want to label them so that you can identify when you edit the product? If so,
Login to shopadmin configrtion and
xproductothercaptions ( This is the caption you want to see, it can have space)
xproductotherfields ( database field name, cant have spaces)

If you have added more than one field, then put in order in both places so it can be matched.
It is in Developers manual but I dont haveit handy now.

Hi,
Thats in Developer manual Section 12.2.4 ( Page # 80)
and it wil be shown in product table under "Customer Created Fields" when you edit/add product.
