 asp code on product detail page		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

Hey all. I'm trying to do an include file on the product detail page. i've renamed tmp_product.htm to .asp..it still runs through shopexd.asp however it ignores my include file call. i wanted to display 'people who bought this also bought...' on this page...any hints as to how to get that to work?

Templates are treated as plain text files regardless of what you name them They are not read by ASP but by our own code in file shopfileio.asp. So there is no way to add ASP to a template.

You have to add it to shopfileio.asp (which is rather complex) and non trvial to do without expert ASWP programming skills

You could use the existing cross selling feature to achieve this possibly.

That way you would not have to do any coding unless perhaps you wanted to reformat the way the cross selling display looked..
