I'm trying to customize tmp_productformat.htm and have it stripped down to:
<FONT FACE="Arial, Verdana, Helvetica" SIZE="2"> <P><B>[cname]</B><BR>
[cdescription]
[FormatProductOptions sub] [formathyperlinks sub] [formatimage sub]
Price: [formatcurrency cprice] <B>Qty:</B> [formatquantity sub] [formatbutton sub] </FONT>
Everything is swell except nothing is showing up for [cdescription]. I went back to the default tmp_productformat.htm, and it doesn't display there either.
Is there a different token to use for the product description in v5? Or is something wrong somewhere?
TIA

Could you be mixing up cdescription with extendeddesc?
Just a thought!

Thanks for the reply, Jill! Unfortunately, that's not the problem.

One thing is your missing a closing tag </P>

Closing <P> tags are optional, not required, and in no way effect the display of text.

It is good practice to surround paragraphs using <P> and </P>. The browser will automatically add a line break when a you begin a new paragraph. A closing </P> tag is not required, unless the ALIGN parameter is used which effects the way text is displayed.

Greg, that really has nothing to do with the problem.
I wrote support and they said there's a bug related to ODBC connections to the database. It was a simple fix:
Edit shop$db.asp locate this line memcdescription = objrs("cdescription") make it a comment by puutinga quote as first character ' memcdescription = objrs("cdescription")
If anyone else runs into this, this will likely be your solution.
