I am getting these weird characters when I use a symbol like degree, trademark or registered trade mark.

"are with 199º F (93º C)"

My character set is : <meta charset="utf-8" />

Anyone have ideas?

It might just be in the original data... I will have to look. the Pound sign does in then I use the currency option.

it looks like it may be a google chrome issue. It seems to work right in explorer.

It did it in cognito too. I preloaded an admin menu at the top of the regular site pages. I had to add <meta charset="utf-8" />
and now it seems to work fine even though the head already had it. This admin menu loads above the head on the regular pages. Thanks.
