Hi there.

I´ve been looking for a way to disable side boxes on certain pages
For example we wanted to show our customers only the relevant info to make the order, in shopaddtocart.asp, hiding side boxes, like in OPC.

In this case what we did was to add the sub sideboxes_disable around line 302
......
end if
sideboxes_disable
''800 - 2015.08.17 - Better handling on the site title
SetSess "Dynamictitle",GetLang("langcommonviewcart") & " - " & GetConfig("xtitle")
.......
This way the left and right side boxes, are disabled in the shopping cart page.

Saludos
Diego

Thank you for sharing @Diego.

Disabling the side boxes means less distraction for customers while focusing on the order :)

Awesome!!!

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Daniel

On a similar note since this lead us in the right direction and couldn''t find a solution. The sideboxes_disable is a nice line to have. We inserted that in a re-named and copied shopcontent.asp page calling it "anythingyouwant.asp" and inserted "sideboxes_disable" in line 34

''700 - SEO
if MessageType = "" then
if getsess("seotype") <> "" then
MessageType = getsess("seotype")
end if
end if
sideboxes_disable

Upload and link to www.yoursite.com/anythingyouwant.asp?type=yourpagename.

This created a unique set of pages with no sides and works great for things like Calendars and wide stuff.
