SORBS (Spam and Open-Relay Blocking System)
Anyone else having problems with this recently?
It seems to be getting really aggressive with some host servers and we''ve had a couple of customers who keep getting bounce back emails saying they cannot be delivered. It''s not our mail server that SORBS has blacklisted, but the IP addresses of our customers'' host ISPs I think.

Any thoughts?

these mybe helpful:

-Your IP may automatically off the blacklist, or timeout, after a specific length of time, which may be a couple of weeks.

-You submit a form on the list-holder’s website.

-You make adjustment to your list management practices to tighten security and make it hard for spammers to use your server, then apply to be removed from the blacklist.

-Change your ISP. If the dynamic IP addresses your ISP assigns you are compromised, changing your provider may be the most efficient way to get off and stay off blacklists.
Thanks. DIEGO.

Thanks Diego,
we''ve told this to our customers who are blocked and they will get in touch with their ISPs.
(it''s not us that is having trouble with blacklists)
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced a big increase in the amount of blacklisted mail addresses. There seems to be quite a battle going on at the moment.

Regards,

Carrol
