Hello,

We have a simple store with a few items. I'd like to have a new product for unique users. For all those unique users, the price would be the same. This is not a special price, the price is the same for all.

Already tried a few things but none of them worked. What are my options.

Thanks

Hi,

if you are using v7.0 of the cart then you could create a new customer group and assign your unique customers to this new group.
Then for any product that you want only this group to see, open the product record and find the customer management section. Check the Customer Groups radio button and select the group to be included. Save the product record.
Open a new browser window and login as one of the unique customers and test.

Hi carfin,

Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately what you suggested is not working. I did what you said and still all items are visible to guest. Version 7.0 is the version I use.

I've just tested this on our site and it seems to work fine. When you're testing it make sure to log out, refresh your site and then log in as one of the custom group. If this still does not work then perhaps you should contact the support guys.

use customer group should be working for you.
you just maybe missed a step.
what you must do;
- create a customer group maybe call it UNIQUE group
- then assign the customer you want into UNIQUE group
- then edit that product, there will be Customer Management, choose only Customer Groups ,
- be sure to Groups to be included , pick the UNIQUE
- be sure to select Groups to be excluded, pick the other groups you want them to see.
thats all should be easy
