Lots of request now to instal a Pin-It button on product pages. While Pinterest provides code it doesn't seem to provide a code for dynamic pages. I'm experimenting with various settings but so far haven't been able to get it completely working.

thanks,
Dave Layton

This code seems to work on product pages (template pages). There is an additional script that pinterest provides for the shoppage_trailer pages before the </body> tag.

<a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yourdomain.com%2Fshopexd.asp%3Fid%3D[catalogid]&media=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yourdomain.com%2F[cimageurl]&description=[cname]" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a>

Can you post the needed code for the end of the page?

Thanks

Sure. The following goes just above the </body> tag usually on the trailer.htm page. This pops up the pin box.

<script type="text/javascript" src="//assets.pinterest.com/js/pinit.js"></script>
