Does the SEO Toolkit support Google Product Feeds?

I know in September they will be requiring new fields to be added to the feed if you wish to continue to have your feed to remain included in Google Product Feed. Does this addon support this new feed format?

Also it says it supports Google Base which was discontinued by Google and replaced with Google Products years ago. Does this mean that it needs updating?

I'm not sure what the latest (or any pending) version of the generic vpasp googlebase feed has in it, but we've released a new version of our googlebase feed (or google product feed which amounts to the same thing as far as I know, as long as the fields are in line with the latest spec; googlebase feeds and product feeds are the same format/thing as from 22-sep) which is fully in-line with the latest google specs, including a "taxonomy" (google product category) import function etc:

Google-Base Feed for VP-ASP - BYZ056:

22-Sep-2011 is the deadline that google have given; if people's feeds don't fit the new format/logic by that time then their items will be deleted.

Google rules will be strictly enforced as from 22-sep-2011.

For "uniqueness", you will need to specify as a minimum:
a) gtin (ie upc or isbn etc)
b) mpn and brand
