Hi, I have version 5.5 and have this query....

I am importing products in a txt file - they are all getting into the database fine, but I cannot get them to appear on the website - Once imported they have ccategory = 103 , for example, but they do not appear in category 103.

Can you tell me what could cause this?

If I go in and edit the product and pick category 103 from the drop down they then appear.

Make sure your text file has a header called level3 which is field that should store your main category number when using the bulk import feature.
