We have had 2 completed orders in the last 10 days where the email order notification was blocked by our mail server with the message above. In both cases the problem seems to be with the GBP £ sign which has been changed to a ?. All our mail messages from the website are set up to go out in html format and we've never had this problem before. The orders appear as normal in the admin panel so it is definitely an email formatting problem.

Anyone else had issues with this?

Hi Carol,

We had an issue a little while ago where one of our templates was changed from utf8 format to ansi, this caused no end of problems with emails.

Thank you for the infomation.
I've changed shopmail.asp and langcharset to force all e-mails to UTF-8 format. I had not made any changes at all to any of the mail templates or settings in the last 2 months, and it seems strange that only 2 emails have been affected. Hopefully now there won't be any more.
