All of a sudden, I am unable to add or edit products. Orders are written to the database as usual, but when I try to add or edit a product, the page simply goes back to the same CMS page without the amendment.

what browser you use ? and what VPASP version you are using ?

Our client (using VPASP 6.5) has identified the same problem when using IE9.

Within the admin pages:
(1) the TinyMCE (HTML) editor shows text bigger than it did in IE8
(2) it's not possible to format text within the TinyMCE editor
(3) if data is changed e.g. the price or another field (that doesn't use the HTML editor) it is not written to the database

TinyMCE suggest upgrading to v3.3 or 3.4 of their editor? see http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=80665

I am unclear however why there is now a problem updating a product record when using IE9?

The workaround for now is to use IE8 compatibility mode and features work as usual.

Ahhh the joys of IE..

browser related i think. FF is always good to try that is why i love Firefox! Firefox rocks!
