My customers receive their products via downloads so I do not need to collect much personal information from them. I am therefore trying to remove many of the fields from the customer information form.

I am looking at shopcustomerform.asp and shopcustregister.asp but cannot work out what code to remove. I am using version 6.09. Can anyone help me please by explaining how to:
(a) remove a field from the form completely; and
(b) make another field NOT mandatory.

I'm sure this should be easy but I have tried off and on over several weeks and cannot work it out from either the manual or other posts. Some guidance would therefore be really appreciated!
