 strange behavior in latest products		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

New site. I am adding products. Everything is working fine with "stand-alone" products. But when I add a product that has subproducts, the product is not formatted properly in the latest products section on the home page.

Here are the differences:

Stand-alone
Text centered in box
"More" button right justified in box

Parent products
Text left justified in box
"More" button left justified and text is missing; button image only

Additionally, the parent product box stretches all the way across the column
no matter what the setting is in xNewProductsfrontpagemaxcolumns.

I would appreciate any suggestions to correct this. Thanks and have a great day.

Regarding the issue that you're facing, it would be great if you can supply screen-shot of your website that show the issue. This will help us to understand better your issue as this is display related problem.

I would look in your template files, the stand-alone is controlled by a different template to the parent/sub products. the difference you describe sound typical of differences in these files.

Excuse the delay. I have a family member in the last stages of terminal cancer and I'm spending much of my time there.

Site is displaying correctly now. The answer was to change xNewProductTemplate from tmp_newproductsfrontpage to tmp_3_columns_frontpage.

Thanks Renner for telling me to check the templates. I thought I had...but when you said check, I did and I found this one.

I appreciate everyone's help!
