i need to show currency symbol as "€". In email templates its showing symbol as "?".
what am i doing wrong?

You can try to make changes to your shopmail.asp file.

Inside the CDOSYS sub routine you will have to add the following lines to force the CDOSYS mailing component to format the mail with the correct character set to display the Euro symbol:

Mailer.BodyPart.charset = "windows-1252"
Mailer.TextBodyPart.charset = "windows-1252"
Mailer.HTMLBodyPart.charset = "windows-1252"
Mailer.HTMLBodyPart.Fields(CONTENT_TYPE).Value = "text/html;charset=windows-1252;"
Mailer.BodyPart.ContentTransferEncoding = "quoted-printable"

Maybe this will help.
