Having problems upgrading from 6.5.0.4 to 7. Our site has been successfully running for some time.
I did the following per the upgrade directions:
1. Downloaded vpasp700plus.zip 2. Backed up current website/database. 3. Overlayed zip file onto existing directory. 4. Went to site and selected Upgrade and Exsiting VPASP store.
I then received the following error:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01b6'
Object doesn't support this property or method: 'Response.codepage'
/upgrade/setupsub.asp, line 4
I tried this several times with the same result. Setup: Windows 2000 Server IIS 5.0 / ASP 3.0 .Net Framework v1.1 SQL Server 2000

I removed line 4 from setupsub.asp (response.codepage = 1252) and it did not help.
Still received this error after selecting upgrade button:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01b6'
Object doesn't support this property or method: 'Response.codepage'
/upgrade/setupsub.asp, line 4 |

it's in quite a few files, and quite a few folders; in the normal folder and in the upgrade folder etc; I had to use my text search software to look for all instances of response.codepage from the root of vpasp all the way through all folders, and then comment-out all those lines.
I use agent ransack for that because you just type in what you're looking for, tick the search-subfolders box, and then press the button; then you get the full list of all the relevant files and can double-click on them one-by-one to open/edit them (whatever you do, don't use windows text search), see:

Thanks for you help.
I commented out response.codepage = 1252 on the following files:
shophash.asp shopuploadfilepopcart.asp shopupsincludes.asp adminheaders.asp \admin shopa_import2.asp \admin shopa_uploadfilepop.asp \admin shopa_uploadfilethumbpop.asp \admin setupsub.asp \installation shophash.asp \installation setupsub.asp \upgrade shophash.asp \upgrade
I was able to get thru the upgrade without problems, but now our site is missing product images.

Wow. [sarcasm] I'm amazed at the quick response VPASP is giving this [/sarcasm]. I would expect more interest from them on a customer having problems upgrading their product.
The site is kinda useless if we can't display images. |

Looks like images weren't copied to new directory. They are working now. |
