I can not seem to find instructions in the documentation for V7.0 about what files to modify for custom header and footers for Affiliates. I have modified shoppage_header.htm in the templates/default-2cols folder and change the name to aff14_header.htm

I can not figure out how to change the reference to the affiliates Logo instead of mine. And i would like to override the links in the horonzontal menu.

Any pointers?

Giving this a bump as Im in the process of setting up the affiliate system too, and have encountered the same issue. Does anyone know where you need to define these for each affiliate?

Thanks

Dear Ramon,

The filename for affiliate header and footer template file should have the following format:

affXX_header.htm
affXX_trailer.htm

With XX is the recordID of the afilliate

To change the logo, you would need to modify the following code in aff14_header.htm:

<div id="vp_logo"><%logo%></div>

Please change it into the following code:

<div id="vp_logo"><img src="path_to_your_image.jpg" /></div>

As for the horizontal menu, it should be defined in the following code:

<div id="vp_horomenu"><%horomenu%></div>

If you still have trouble in modifying this file, then please submit a ticket to our helpdesk at https://helpdesk.vpasp.com so we could investigate this further.

Thank you.

Thx Angelo!

Top tip for anyone else doing this... don't forget to update the "directurl" parameter.
I had it set to "/" rather than "/shopping" and (as I'd forgetten the "/" path was outside of the cart itself) it took me ages to twig why it wasn't changing the header! lol Doh!
