Hello,
You don't upgrade/design an ongoing VPASP store on the fly, and since the layout facilities in the new version 7.0 take advantage for a great part, in using the database, I'm curious to know how to make the switch?
Problem:
The ongoing store cannot be closed during the upgrade. My actual problem is, how to upgrade from 6.09 to 7.0, making all the adjustments, layout, language settings etc., having everything ready and approved, and then make the change.
Ideas, tips and tricks are most welcome!
For now, I have made an identical site on a subdomain, with a copy of the Access database. Made the upgrade wizard as in the upgrade manual. It is running on my own dedicated Windows 2003 server, so can do anything within IIS settings my self. Also I'm used to work with MS Access, in case anybody knows exactly which tables to import from old db to new db.
