I seem to have about 300 unreachable pages reported by Google Webmaster tools. (We have about 16000 product pages). When I look at the links they show the directory "products" with a capital P. However, when I look at my sitemap it shows a lower case p. If I type the link in my address bar with a captial P the page can not be found - if I switch to a lower case p, no problem.

For example:

Sitemap:
<url>
<loc>http://www.accentalarms.com/products/203-Access-Control/33613-Securitron-LN-250-Lock-Nuts-Pack-Of-4/</loc>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>

Error Link Shown on Google WebMst Page:
http://www.accentalarms.com/Products/203-access-control/33613-securitron-ln-250-lock-nuts-pack-of-4/

Change it to lower case p (in products):
http://www.accentalarms.com/products/203-access-control/33613-securitron-ln-250-lock-nuts-pack-of-4/

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or even why it's doing this?

Thank you!

Hi Sean,

We are just finishing up SP1 currently. Do you want us to apply this to your site so we can ensure that it fixes this issue?

Thanks.

Cam,

Absolutely :) Let me know if you'd like me to create a ticket or at least give a heads up so we aren't stepping on each other with changes.

As I keeping pointing out/posting - VPASP Support is always really exceptoinal!

Thanks again!

Hi Sean,

Best to post a helpdesk ticket with this. We just tested with the SP1 and the issue did not show up so would be good to test in a live site.

Thanks.
