I just wanted to see if anyone knows if the RSS feed for 6.5 works well in 7.0. Anyone using it?

www.vpasp.com/sales/vpasp700sp-features.htm
Claims that Version 7 has a built in RSS manager

www.vpasp.com/virtprog/vpasptechnical.htm:
Also Claims to have a new RSS for V7

I found it in the SEO Manager - It is available only in the Deluxe Version

RE V6 to 7...
Identifying the RSS subs in V6.50 shopa_editdisplay.asp to move over to version 7.01 seems easy. Moving them looks risky.

1. Is the SEO Manager available as an ADDON?

2. Is there a FAQ that I could NOT find?

3. How do the cusomers register?
4. This looks like it may not work for Content Only for RSS??

Hello there,

- For issue #1:

We do offer the SEO Manager as a separate module. For more details on this, please refer to the following page:

http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/seotoolkit.htm

- For issue #2:

Is there any chance that you are referring to the manual on SEO Manager? If so, then please refer to chapter "22 Search Engine Optimization (SEO)" of our User Manual. The latest update of User Manual could be downloaded from the following link:

http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/VPASP_700_User_Manual.zip

- For issue #3:

There are 2 ways that your customer could register themselves. By clicking the "Sign Up" button at shopcustomer.asp page. Or through the "Customer Registration" section in shopcustadmin.asp page.

For more information about New Customer Registration Form, please check Chapter 10.1.1 of the User Manual. The User Manual can be downloaded from http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/VPASP_700_User_Manual.zip.

- For issue #4:

Is there any chance that you are referring to the content that displayed in shopcontent.asp page? Unfortunately to include the content to the RSS feed would require customzation to the code.

If you would like us to review your development requirements and provide an obligation free quote, please open a new ticket and let us know the full details of what you require and we will get back to you ASAP.

Thank you.
