I am setting up a version 7.0 site and have noticed that when attempting to check out, a customer has to either have registered already or needs to sign up. Is there a way to also give the option of letting the customer checkout as a Guest and not register?

Hi is there an answer for this?

I have customers who order almost yearly and as such are constantly forgetting the login details.

Is there a way of allowing the order to go through without login in please.

Found out you can set "xLoginSeparatePage" in your Admin page to "No". This will eliminate the shopcustadminlogin.asp page and just puts a login box at the top of the shopcustomer.asp page. That way the customer can either login first, or just fill out the billing/shipping info without logging in and checkout as a guest.

Of course, this means they will never see the Register section to register as a new customer, so you would have to add a link somewhere else to shopcustadminlogin.asp if you want people to be able to register as new customers separately.

New customers can create an account so that you can shop faster in the future and keep track of orders you have made in the past.

is the text for Language #783 and #784

You can change what they say
