Has anyone found that their customers seem to experience more problems checking out (cart items being removed, page errors) when one is in admin doing other things like adding new products, categories etc.

I have several clients using VPASP. Two do not have to go into admin too often and their clients have no problems checking out. But my one client is always in admin and that is when his customers seem to have problems checking out. He said he was not in admin for nearly a month (medical issues) and did not get any complaints from customers about shopping cart issues.

ps - client WITH the problems is using vpasp hosting, but had same problem with a previous host provider.

Hi Loretta,

That is a strange one!!

You will certainly have an issue if you are working in the admin yourself and trying to order from the front end using another browser window.,

This is because the session will get mixed up between the admin and the front end.

However this will not affect anyone else actually browsing as the sessions do not cross over.

What sort of problems are the customers actually having?
