Hello,

I am developing a site using VPASP 7. As per customer need I want to add some functionality to existing admin & front side i.e want to add some asp pages. Can anyone tell me how I can link these pages to existing component?
E.g - In Reports there are 5 types. In addition to that I want to add 6th as 'Order Report'. How can I create a button for that in existing 'shopa_reports.asp' page?

Please if anyone knows this, reply ASAP. Its urgent.
Thanks

Hi Pallavi,

Go to Advanced Settigns -> Admin navigation

there are three levels

Level 1. are the black tabs
Level 2. are the items in those drop downs
Level 3. are the boxes on top of pages in level 2

so for what your doing click on Level three
It will then bring down 2 drop downs, a level 1 and level 2
choose the one you want to change. In your example level 1 = Store 2 = Reports

It will then give you a list of links to edit and below is the box to add a menu item.

Let me know if you need more help.
I havent looked but id assume this will be covered in the documentation - look for admin navigation

Hi Rudi,

First of all thanks for ur reply!

I tried it in admin & it works. But now I want to add pages to front end of my site. Say I want to add 'Sitemap' page. Can you tell me how to add it? I tried to add it manually but its very difficult to integrate header, footer files. Not getting how to do this.

Can anyone help me for this?

Hi Pallavi,

Try this -

1. go to Website -> page manager -> Add record - add the content for your page.

To add it to the menu on the frontpage

2. go to Website -> menu manager -> add menu item

once you have done that dont forget to press reload menu.
