this was a free add on for vpasp 6.5 and although google analytics is in version 7, the ecommerce part of it isn't. I was a bit surprised that it this requires 'custom development' as I would have thought it would be an included feature since I'd say most vpasp customers are using vpasp for ecommerce.

Is there a resolution or update for this? I was really surprised when my conversion were off this week -- only to find that it wasn't tracking ecommerce.

I too am curious how to implement the ecommerce tracking portion of Google Analytics, where you pass your shopping cart contents (order id, etc) directly to GA. I've scoured the web but found no real-world examples in ASP, and certainly none dealing directly with the VPASP shopping cart.

We have a helpnote that you can follow on how to integrate Google Commerce into your VPASP site :

Basically you need to download and install the addon from our download center :

For version 7.00 : http://www.vpasp.com/sales/addons700.asp
For version 6.50 : http://www.vpasp.com/sales/addons650.asp
