I am encountering a problem updating my products on my local computer I am accessing through the VPASP Login which is fine and am able to update & add Product Features, but when trying to update or add a product I am getting an error message:
Cannot display page (HTTP 500 Internet Server error)
Have opened the database in Microsoft Access and am able to work in all tables. Is the problem in the VPASP setup or has that particular table become corrupted???
Has anybody else had this problem.

Hello Bob,

HTTP 500 error is generally an error related to code.

By default the display of true error messages is masked within Internet Explorer. To change this can you please set your browser to display non friendly error messages.

Go into the Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.

Scroll down until you get to:

Show friendly HTTP Error Messages.

Ensure this setting is unchecked.

Once this is done it will display an error message that can be used for debugging purposes.

Try pasting the error message to this post and I will review it.

Thanks.

Regards,
Frank

Hi Bob

Please try locating xmaxfeaturecaptions in the online Set Up and setting this to a number higher than you have features.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
Cam
