v7.0
In my product descriptions, I used to use javascript for clickable links such as "onclick="MM_openBrWindow....." etc - to open small pop-up windows with specific extra details.
Javascript no longer works from within the database, so I was wondering if there are any other ways to create small pop-up windows from links within the product description? (I don't mean standard pages - I want to control the size, etc).
Secondly, does this restriction on javascipt mean that the HighslideJS app would not work?
It is an excellent add-on - but not sure if it would work on v7.0?
The VPASP helpnote for HighslideJS is from 2007, when javascript was still permitted. http://helpnotes.vpasp.com/shopexd.asp?id=930#930 |

OK - found a way to run javascript for pop-up windows which I hope is ok.
Added javascript code to shoppage_header, and then on-click code to the tmp_product template.
Then replaced the pop-up page reference with [level4] field, and the link text is in [level5] field.
e.g; <a href="javascript:;" onclick="MM_openBrWindow('[level4].asp','[level4]','scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,width=700,height=850')">[level5]</a>
