HI All

Is it possible for the cart to send an email to me when someone gets to the shopcreateorder.asp page.

This is the first page that the customer sees the combined total of the cart and the shipping charges and I think this could be scaring some people off as our products are hazadous and cost a lot to ship.

But I would like to know how many people are getting this far and abandoning their carts.

Hi Mark,

I think the easiest way to get the stats for abandonned carts would be through Google Analytics. You can view the 'Bounce Rate' for this page (see what percentage of users are leaving the site after viewing it) or you can create a 'Goal' pipeline eg. shopaddtocart.asp -> shopcustomer.asp -> shopcreateorder.asp -> ... shopthanks.asp, and see from this how far people get through the ordering process. It's pretty easy to set up and it's free.

I agree with Carrol you should set up some sort of analytic monitoring, GA will do the job, but there are also loads of others on the market.
