I recently did an import of products (120 items) into the database, but they do not show up when I test the site. If I go into an individual part number, make no changes to it but hit update, it will then show up in its correct category. What do I need to do to just get an import to show up?

Hi there

A couple of things you need to remember with importing.

Firstly always include in your product import file the HIDE field and set all records to 0 (zero) if you want them to display.

Secondly if you have your products in multiple categories you can use the LEVEL3 field to enter your category ID's separated by a comma:

2,5,34

After importing the products should show up however if they do not then you can run the convertproducts.asp file in your browser to ensure all products are populated in their correct categories.

Another one of course is stock levels although it does not sound like this is the issue here. If stock is turned on make sure you have a value in CSTOCK.
