I use Filezilla for FTP and I use VPASP for hosting.
However when I try to change file permission, it does not change it.

For example I want to export order text file, so I created folder called export and changed the folder to 744, but it does not change.

Is it because IIS?

Can anyone help me please? How can I change file permission on VPASP host?

Hello there,

IIS folder permission is not the same as FTP folder permission. To modify the IIS folder permission, you need to do this from Plesk -> Web Directories -> Permission.

If you are using our hosting, simply submit a ticket to our helpdesk (https://helpdesk.vpasp.com) and our support team will apply the permission for you.

Thank you.

Frank

Ok, I am in Plesk and got to Setting up access permissions of export folder. However can you tell me how to change the permission?

I modified permission for Plesk IIS user and Plesk IIS UP user to be able to read and write, but it still does not work.
